In fact, because of ReStore donations, we raised more than $500K to support the Habitat for Humanity mission. Plus, when you donate to ReStore, items that might otherwise end up in the dump find new homes. In the past two years, we’ve diverted over 2,000 tons of usable material from going into a landfill.

Our donation pick-up service is reserved for large donations located in San Francisco, San Mateo or Marin Counties. We carefully evaluate each request to ensure that we can recover the costs associated with the pick-up and raise funds for Habitat through the resell of your donation.  

Please check our donation guidelines for information on what we can and cannot accept. We’ll respond to your request within one business day to let you know if we can schedule your quick donation pick up.

To offset rising costs of diesel and truck maintenance we charge $25 per pickup, payable to our Driver by credit/debit card. If a card is not available, check can be used at the time of pick up.

Donations can be dropped off during store hours: Tuesday through Sunday, 10am-5:00pm

A volunteer will screen your items and, if accepted, will help you unload and give you a tax receipt.

As with all ReStore donations, all proceeds support our work of building homes and community in Marin, San Francisco and the Peninsula.
